Power saws are not just hand saws plus power, but rather the development of more forms of power sawing machines, such as radial arm saws that extend the ability of miter saws and circular saws.

Types of sawing machines

There are three main categories of power sawing machines: rotating blades, reciprocating blade and circulating blade.

  1. Table Saw
The table saw is a machine with a large circular saw blade and a high-speed running motor. The operation mode is that the operator pushes the wood object against the sawtooth circular blade rotating at a high speed at a fixed position to perform the cutting process. The table saw can be replaced with different types of saw blades according to different needs. It can also adjust the lifting and angle of the saw blade. It is common and easy to operate a sawing machine.

  2. Circular Saws
The circular saw is a versatile saw machine that is easy to carry, in other words, a portable table saw. The circular saw can select the appropriate circular saw blade according to the materials to be cut, and the working principle of a circular saw is just opposite to the table saw. The operation of the circular saw is to move the machine. The piece is close to and to cut the stationary object.

  3. Miter Saw
The miter saw is designed to adjust the angle of the cutting cut. In other words, when you need a specific and precise angle, you will need a miter saw for forming and trimming. The two sides of the miter saw can be rotated 45 degrees, and the addition can be performed for 90 cutting. Hand-held miter saws are usually paired with a miter box.

  4. Oscillating Saw
The blade of the oscillating saw can perform precise cutting work in a limited space. The oscillating saw can not only handle the cutting work, but also grinding, removing grout or caulk, and scraping work.

Mechanical Reducers in Industrial Manufacturing
Speed reducers are powerful mechanical devices generally used in machining tools to multiply the force or torque generated by an input power source, thereby increasing the usable force, enhancing the performance and precision of the machining tool. They are also used in material handling systems such as conveyor belts and lifting mechanisms to control the speed of material transfer and manage heavy loads efficiently. By multiplying the available output force, they enable the use of a reduced input power source, resulting in cost savings for machine tool investments. When choosing the appropriate speed reducer, the torque, speed, and horsepower of the input, as well as the mounting configuration, efficiency, and required lifetime all need to be considered. The quality of the machine chosen will also be reflected in the amount of backlash, transmission error, torsional rigidity, and inertia experienced during machining.
