The health risks of the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures taken to contain it have changed the situation for organizing Celle Drilling Conference in 2020. Many countries and international operating companies have travel restrictions that will remain in force for several months to come. Against this background, the Celle Drilling steering committee has decided to cancel the Celle Drilling 2020 event that was to be held in Celle from September 8 to 9. Yet in view of the overall situation in Europe and around the world, we do not see any possibility of holding the conference this year in its familiar form as a platform for presenters, exhibitors and visitors. The next Celle Drilling – International Conference and Exhibition for Advanced Drilling Technology will take place on 14 / 15 September 2021.
Introduction
Under the theme “Drilling Into the Next Decade” professionals from academia and industry will discuss the future of drilling technology, with a special emphasis on land drilling applications. The main topics of the conference are:
